Hyatt Regency London Olympia will be part of a major redevelopment project transforming Olympia, London's historic convention centre rebuilt in 1873, into a comprehensive convention, entertainment, and cultural district in West London. Anchored by the iconic glass barrel‑vaulted roofs of the Grand and National Halls, the new 14‑acre site will feature a boutique multi‑screen arthouse cinema, a 4,000‑capacity music and performing arts venue, a 1,500‑seat theatre, a rooftop sky garden, as well as restaurants, cafés, and office and co‑working spaces. Hyatt Regency London Olympia will offer 204 rooms, a bar and restaurant, as well as a lobby lounge. Additionally, there will be three meeting rooms and direct connectivity to the London Olympia Convention Centre.
Duties and responsibilities related to the Bartender role:
- This is a part‑time opportunity.
- Provide personalised and attentive service, anticipating guest needs and preferences to create memorable experiences.
- Take responsibility for the setup, smooth operation, and closing of the bar.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the bar menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations, to confidently advise guests.
- Follow departmental standard operating procedures to uphold service consistency and quality.
- Promote and upsell premium drinks, special offers, and food pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenue.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
About You:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a premium hospitality environment is preferred.
- You have strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
