Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and personalised valet, laundry, dry-cleaning, and seamstress service to guests, ensuring all requests are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
- Receive, record, process, and return guest garments, ensuring all items are correctly logged and any discrepancies or garment damage are communicated promptly to the guest.
- Carry out clothing alterations, repairs, pressing, and garment care services for guests and colleagues while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Collect, sort, count, and coordinate the delivery and collection of guest laundry and dry-cleaning items, ensuring accurate record-keeping and billing.
- Inspect garments returned from external laundry providers, reporting and following up on any quality concerns, shortages, or damages.
- Maintain the valet area, equipment, and workspaces in a clean, organised, and safe condition, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and faults are reported immediately.
- Handle guest requests professionally and courteously, delivering personalised service and ensuring guest satisfaction at every stage of their stay.
- Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety procedures, and housekeeping standards, while maintaining accurate handovers, lost property records, and operational documentation.
About you
We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-focused individual with previous experience in a valet, laundry, seamstress, or housekeeping role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in garment care, alterations, and fabric repairs. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service, alongside the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, is essential. The ideal candidate will be professional, trustworthy, and able to maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and confidentiality at all times.
