Location: Primarily based at Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, near Marble Arch, with regular travel across London required as part of the role.
Working Hours: Generally Monday to Friday during office hours, with occasional evening or weekend work required to support recruitment fairs, colleague social events, networking events, and college or alumni events.
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Talent Acquisition Officer to support the full recruitment cycle primarily across 8 managed Hyatt hotels in London. This is a hands-on recruitment role, focused on attracting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and coordinating candidates across a wide range of hotel positions, including Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office and Sales.
This is a fast-paced and highly collaborative recruitment role where you will work closely with Hotel HR teams, hiring managers, and the Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver recruitment campaigns, manage vacancies, build talent pipelines and hire exceptional talent across a variety of hotel functions. You will also play an important role in strengthening Hyatt’s employer brand and positioning Hyatt as an employer of choice across the London hospitality market.
From proactive sourcing and recruitment campaigns to candidate screening, market analysis, stakeholder engagement and external partnerships, no two days will be the same. Representing Hyatt’s culture and values throughout the recruitment journey will be central to the role, making strong communication and relationship building skills essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support end to end recruitment delivery primarily across 8 managed Hyatt hotels in London, including advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, interview coordination, candidate management and offer support.
- Partner with HR teams and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide recruitment guidance.
- Post and manage job adverts across internal and external recruitment platforms, ensuring brand consistency and visibility.
- Review applications and conduct pre-screening interviews via phone and video formats, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience.
- Coordinate onsite interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and professional process for both candidates and hotel stakeholders.
- Utilise proactive sourcing strategies, including LinkedIn, social media, networking, referrals and talent mapping, to identify and engage high quality talent across the hotel portfolio.
- Stay up to date with the latest recruitment technology, market trends and digital sourcing methods, proactively identifying new ways to attract, engage and hire candidates.
- Use digital recruitment channels effectively, including online interviewing, recruitment platforms, social media campaigns and proactive sourcing tools.
- Build and nurture relationships with job boards, educational institutions, social enterprises and external partners to support Hyatt’s talent pipeline across London.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for operational and corporate hotel roles.
- Deliver and facilitate recruitment training sessions and best practice workshops for senior leaders, HR teams and hiring managers across the hotel portfolio.
- Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment events, career fairs, colleague social events, networking events, college and alumni events and external partnerships.
- Compile, analyse and present recruitment metrics, market insights and benchmarking data, including salary and benefits trends, to senior leaders across UK hotels.
- Promote Hyatt’s culture and values throughout all recruitment activities.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
About You:
You will have previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience within an agency or in-house setting, with hospitality recruitment experience or knowledge of the London hospitality market being highly advantageous. You will be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels while managing multiple priorities across a busy hotel portfolio.
You will be tech savvy, curious and confident using digital recruitment channels, from online interviewing and recruitment platforms to social media campaigns and proactive sourcing tools. You will stay up to date with recruitment trends and bring creative ideas to attract, engage and hire candidates.
We are looking for someone who is super proactive, solutions focused, resilient, organised and adaptable, with the ability to work independently, use their own initiative and take ownership in a fast-paced recruitment environment. Strong written, verbal communication and administrative skills are essential, and an interest in employer branding, marketing and social media platforms would be beneficial.
