Duties and responsibilities related to the Housekeeping Public Area Attendant – Flexi Hours role:
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across all public areas, ensuring a welcoming and polished environment for guests and colleagues at all times.
- Carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks in lobbies, corridors, restrooms, meeting spaces and back‑of‑house areas, addressing issues proactively and efficiently.
- Monitor the condition of public‑area furnishings, fixtures and equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly to support a safe and well‑maintained hotel environment.
- Support guest experience by responding to public‑area cleaning requests and ensuring all spaces remain tidy, stocked and ready for use throughout the day.
- Uphold hotel policies by correctly handling lost property, following health and safety procedures and maintaining compliance with fire and security standards.
- Ensure all cleaning tools, machinery and supplies are used safely, stored correctly and kept in good working order.
- Collaborate with other departments, including F&B and Guest Services, to maintain shared spaces and contribute to a seamless guest journey.
- Assist with special cleaning projects, seasonal tasks or operational needs such as linen support, ensuring flexibility and teamwork across the department.
