Overview

Night Manager at Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars: oversee night operations, guest satisfaction and safety, and manage the Front Office during the night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Act as manager on duty for the hotel, handling complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and other issues that may arise.
  • Manage the night shift in the department, ensuring all employees perform assigned tasks and coordinating Front Office activities with other departments.
  • Welcome guests in a friendly and helpful manner; ensure public areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Participate in decision-making on guest relocations for nights with overcapacity; coordinate with the Front Office Manager and/or Manager on Duty prior to shift start.
  • Perform the full night audit.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, assigning nightly work, training, counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and rewards.
  • Manage and monitor Front Office department activities to ensure adherence to standards, hotel policies and procedures, coaching, training and corrective actions where needed.
