The Opportunity

As Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, you will support the leadership and delivery of our diverse food and beverage offering, spanning restaurants, bar, lounge, immersive dining spaces, in‑room dining and event venues. Working closely with the Director of Food and Beverage, you will help bring the Park Hyatt London River Thames experience to life through refined service, thoughtful execution and a consistently personalised guest journey. This is an exciting opportunity for a luxury food and beverage leader who is passionate about developing teams, enhancing operations and creating memorable dining experiences within a distinctive London hotel.

What you will do as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage:

  • Support the Director of Food and Beverage in the daily leadership of all outlets, in‑room dining and event spaces.
  • Help deliver refined, personalised guest experiences across every food and beverage touchpoint.
  • Lead, coach and motivate colleagues, building a culture of care, accountability and excellence.
  • Work closely with culinary, beverage and outlet leaders to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Support menu, service and concept enhancements across the hotel’s food and beverage offering.
  • Contribute to the continued development of The Magic Table and the hotel’s private dining experience.
  • Monitor guest feedback and operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Support financial performance through cost control, productivity management and revenue‑focused initiatives.
  • Champion training, sustainability, wellbeing and responsible sourcing across the operation.
  • Create an inclusive environment where colleagues feel valued, supported and empowered.

About you

You bring strong experience in luxury hotel food and beverage operations, ideally gained within a high‑end, international or cosmopolitan hospitality environment. You have a proven ability to support and lead teams, deliver exceptional service standards and contribute to the smooth running of multiple outlets or complex operations. Experience working to Forbes standards would be highly advantageous.

You combine a hands‑on leadership style with a refined understanding of luxury guest expectations. Organised, collaborative and commercially aware, you are confident supporting both strategic priorities and day‑to‑day operational excellence. You are passionate about creating distinctive dining experiences, developing colleagues and playing an influential role in the continued success of a luxury hotel food and beverage operation.
