Description: This position is based on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, providing a balanced work schedule. About Great Scotland Yard Hotel – The Unbound Collection: Few addresses are richer in history and anecdote than our hotel, a short walk from Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. Guests enjoy a variety of food and beverage offerings including the 40 Elephants Bar, the Whisky Bar Sibin, and an Afternoon Tea with a twist in The Parlour. This role is for a Night Duty Manager, responsible for the night operations team and guest service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the night team, ensuring high levels of guest service.
- Manage front-of-house operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Prepare and submit nightly reports to senior management and communicate important occurrences to the day team.
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and security protocols.
Duty pattern: 4 on, 4 off (as noted above).
About You / Qualifications
Proven experience in hospitality operations with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage overnight teams effectively. You will have excellent knowledge of hotel procedures, guest service standards, and health and safety requirements.
