Duties and responsibilities related to the Pastry Chef de Partie role:
- Ensure that all pastries and desserts are prepared to the highest standards, following the restaurant's recipes and guidelines.
- Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
- Manage inventory for the pastry section, including ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Ensure that kitchen equipment and tools in the section are maintained in good working order.
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
