Your role:
- Work in partnership with our General Manager, Senior Executive team and Corporate Revenue teams to oversee our Revenue function.
- Oversee short, mid and long term revenue and pricing strategies to ensure that our overall revenue and market share targets are achieved.
- Assume overall responsibility for creating and driving our Revenue strategy across the hotel.
- Review and set weekly and daily pricing strategies to align with our pace of demand and competitors.
- Implement yield management techniques to maximise sales and grow RGI.
- Define our annual sales plan across all market segments to increase market share, average rate and RevPAR.
- Manage our inventory across all distribution channels, optimising and managing accordingly.
- Work closely with our Sales and Marketing Directors to develop packages and specials that engage and excite our guests.
- Produce statistics and reporting to provide ownership, corporate team and hotel leadership with a range of weekly and monthly reports.
This is not a ‘Standard’ Director of Revenue position so you will need to have miles and miles of personality and stamina, be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure well; thrive in a high volume, high energy environment and work equally well both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3+ years as a Director of Revenue ideally gained within a similar Lifestyle Hotel or large 4- or 5-star Hotel in London.
- Solid understanding and detailed knowledge of the London Hotel market along with current pricing and Revenue trends.
- Well versed in all areas of revenue management to forecast future business levels accurately.
- Prior experience of developing revenue budgets, pricing strategies and hotel sales plans.
- Solid commercial acumen with sound decision making skills.
- Experience of producing a range of monthly revenue reports for both Corporate Office & Private Ownership.
- Ideally have experience working with systems: SynXis, IDeaS G3, Opera Cloud, LightHouse, STR, Agency 360 & Demand 360.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong Administration and IT and Excel skills.
- Fluency in English is essential for this role.
