Duties and responsibilities related to the Barista role:
- Provide personalised and attentive service, anticipating guest needs and preferences to create memorable coffee experiences.
- Take responsibility for the setup, smooth operation, and closing of the café or coffee station.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the coffee and beverage menu, including origin, flavour profiles, brewing methods, and milk texturing techniques, to confidently advise guests.
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with brand standards.
- Follow departmental standard operating procedures to uphold service consistency, cleanliness, and quality.
- Promote and upsell premium coffee blends, seasonal beverages, and food pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenue.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
About You:
Previous experience as a barista in a premium hospitality environment is preferred. You have a passion for coffee, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
