As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will shape and lead the commercial direction of Park Hyatt London River Thames, positioning the hotel as one of London's most sought‑after luxury destinations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee all Sales and Marketing functions, driving performance across Rooms, Events and Food and Beverage, in close collaboration with senior leaders across the hotel. In this role, you will define the commercial identity of a luxury hotel in one of the world’s most dynamic and competitive markets. If you bring proven leadership experience within luxury hospitality and a deep understanding of a cosmopolitan market such as London or a similar global city, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing commercial team across Sales and Marketing, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.
- Define and execute the hotel’s commercial strategy to maximise revenue, market share and brand positioning across all segments, with a strong emphasis on MICE, corporate and luxury leisure.
- Drive proactive and strategic sales activity, securing high‑value business and strengthening relationships with key global, regional and local partners.
- Oversee all marketing and brand initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand positioning that reflects the prestige and distinctiveness of Park Hyatt London River Thames.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to optimise pricing, distribution and channel strategy, ensuring a competitive and agile approach within the London luxury market.
- Champion the hotel’s Meetings and Events offering, positioning the ballroom and event spaces as a leading destination for high‑profile and luxury events.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure the commercial promise is delivered through exceptional and seamless guest experiences.
- Represent the hotel within the industry, enhancing visibility through key events, partnerships and international networks.
- Leverage market intelligence and performance data to continuously refine strategy and identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
You are a proven commercial leader with extensive experience in luxury hospitality, having operated at Director level within a competitive and cosmopolitan city such as London or a similar major international market. You bring a strong track record of driving revenue growth, market share and brand positioning across multiple segments, including MICE, corporate and high‑end leisure. Strategic and commercially astute, you are confident leading Sales and Marketing functions while working in close partnership with Revenue Management to deliver aligned and impactful commercial outcomes. You combine a clear vision with a hands‑on approach, ensuring strategies are effectively executed and adapted within a fast‑paced environment. An influential and highly credible leader, you build strong relationships with owners, partners and clients, and represent a luxury brand with confidence and distinction. You are passionate about delivering excellence, with a deep understanding of what defines success in the global luxury hospitality landscape.
