As the Global Sales Specialist, you will play a vital support and creative role within the Hyatt Sales Force (HSF) across EAME. This indirect sales position partners closely with all the segments of the HSF Global Sales teams, providing critical operational, administrative, and project-based support that helps drive overall revenue performance. Reporting to the Director of Corporate & M&E Sales, this role contributes to the success of global and regional sales initiatives by supporting key account management activities, managing sales processes, and helping deliver seamless customer and internal experiences. You will collaborate closely with HSF colleagues and hotel-based sales teams worldwide, serving as a connector, problem-solver, and trusted partner within Hyatt's global sales community.
Responsibilities
- Support Global Sales initiatives on behalf of the EAME region, partnering closely with the Global Sales HSF teams.
- Assist with account management activities, group lead management from all segments, and the end-to-end RFP process.
- Provide administrative and operational support for audits, group lead conversion, customer events, event billing and segment-related projects.
- Design, organize, and support customer-facing and internal sales events as directed.
- Maintain regular communication with HSF offices and ensure timely sharing of relevant information.
- Keep Hyatt sales systems accurate and up to date under the guidance of the Head of Segment.
- Prepare production reports, QBR templates, and performance tracking materials.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators and measurable success metrics.
- Act as a sales subject matter expert, both on-property and above property, as needed.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with global HSF counterparts and internal stakeholders.
- Adapt to evolving market conditions, business needs, and cultural environments with flexibility and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales, sales support, account management, or a commercial environment, ideally within hospitality, travel, or a B2B organization.
- Strong task and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Advanced knowledge of sales systems and tools such as Envision, Lanyon, Cognos, and 360 (or the ability to learn quickly).
- Experience supporting sales processes, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment in achieving business objectives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with comfort working across regions and cultures.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to service excellence.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, international environment.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and continuously develop professional expertise.
