The HX Greenland Ambassador is a part-time position representing HX as a key partner to suppliers, local communities, and organizations across Greenland. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with communities, local businesses, and tourism stakeholders to create authentic, meaningful experiences for guests while supporting Greenlandic communities. The Ambassador works with the Product Leadership Team to improve HX’s offerings in Greenland, including itinerary development, shore experiences, and partnerships with local suppliers. They will support operations during challenges with on-the-ground insights, practical solutions, and local connections to help ensure smooth and safe voyages. They will also gather market insights and support collaboration across departments, including Operations and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and execute responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Develop a holistic and strategic mindset to build and manage strong relationships with Greenlandic communities, local businesses, and tourism stakeholders.
- Represent HX in Greenland and act as the main contact for local partners.
- Collaborate with the Product Leadership Team to enhance itineraries and shore experiences.
- Provide tourism trends and competitor insights to guide strategy.
- Serve as a local operational support resource, assisting with logistics, guest needs, and community coordination in dynamic situations.
- Build and maintain Greenland Gateway relations (Nuuk and Reykjavik) including annual visits with key stakeholders.
- Lead and oversee Antarctic Permit relations with UK FCDO, Polar Regions Department.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure consistency and authenticity in all Greenland programs.
- Support HX Market Heads and PR/Comms in representing and championing the HX brand across media and stakeholders.
- Support the Expedition Product Pre/Post Team to map the political landscape in itinerary planning and assist voyage planners in building relationships in the Antarctic.
- Carefully plan, oversee, execute and evaluate clearly defined strategies; identify complex problems, think critically, and remain open to new ideas.
- Exhibit and champion the HX Purpose and Spirit.

Experience required
- Strong network and credibility within Greenland’s tourism and community sectors.
- Deep cultural understanding and respect for Indigenous perspectives.
- Proven experience in tourism, community engagement, or destination management.
