Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is a General Medical Council (GMC) Sponsor employer. We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to work at Magnolia Ward at Farnham Road Hospital. This post is for either a full‑time or part‑time Consultant Psychiatrist as part of the Acute Care Pathway.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical input and leadership to inpatients in Magnolia Ward.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in line with New Ways of Working.
  • Collaborate with home treatment and community teams to ensure efficient care pathways.
  • Support the 10‑bed Juniper ward and cover 8 beds with a 0.6 WTE subsidiary consultant.
  • Work closely with the other consultant and multidisciplinary staff, including trainees.
  • Deliver consultant input per the agreed Acute Service Operational Policy.

Salary: NHS Consultant Grade £109,725 – £145,478 + £149 fringe

Recruitment premia: £25,000 (subject to policy requirement)

Relocation allowance: up to £8,000 (subject to policy requirements)

GMC sponsorship for international candidates: up to £3,199

NHS Pension: employer contribution 23.7% from day one
