About the Client

A small, specialist structural engineering practice focused on understanding how buildings behave in the real world. Work centres on diagnosing movement, cracking, and structural concerns in homes and heritage buildings, commercial buildings, and giving people clear, confident answers they can rely on. Many clients come to them feeling unsure or worried about what they've seen in their property. Their role is to replace that uncertainty with clarity. They take the time to investigate properly, explain what's happening in plain language, and outline practical next steps that suit the building and the situation.

What They Do

  • Assess structural issues in all types of buildings, from modern homes to historic and non-traditional construction.
  • Investigating cracks, distortion, and movement.
  • Assessing concerns raised during surveys or mortgage valuations.
  • Providing independent advice for homeowners, commercial owners, buyers, and sellers.
  • Supporting heritage and older buildings with sensitive, proportionate solutions.
  • Preparing clear recommendations for repairs or further investigation.

Every assessment is tailored to the building and the people involved.

How They Work

  • Thorough – look beyond the surface to understand the real cause.
  • Independent – advice is impartial and focused solely on your best interests.
  • Clear – we explain our findings in everyday language.
  • Practical – recommendations are realistic, proportionate, and easy to follow.

They also provide builder ready instructions and targeted investigation briefs when needed, helping ensure any work is carried out correctly and efficiently. Clients value them for a calm, methodical approach and ability to make complex issues understandable. Whether you're buying a home, managing a concern in a property you own, or caring for a historic building, they give you the clarity and confidence to move forward.
