Hands-on IT Support Engineer to take ownership of both Service Desk operations and core Microsoft infrastructure. This is a broad, high-impact role where you’ll be the go-to person for end-user support while also contributing to the stability and improvement of the wider IT environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and supporting day-to-day Service Desk activity, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction
  • Administering and maintaining Windows Server environments
  • Supporting and managing Microsoft 365 services
  • Working within an ITIL framework to improve processes and service delivery
  • Using ITSM tools (e.g. Halo or similar) to track and resolve incidents and requests
  • Assisting with basic networking issues and troubleshooting connectivity problems
  • Coordinating with and managing external IT vendors and service providers
  • Taking ownership of issues end-to-end and proactively identifying improvements

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience across both Service Desk and Windows Server environments
  • Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices
  • Experience with ITSM tools (Halo or similar)
  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) is a plus
  • Confident communicator who can work independently and take ownership
