Treasury Manager (Hybrid – 1 day in Newcastle or Leeds)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Treasury Manager to join a leading national business. This key role will be responsible for managing cash, liquidity, and financial risk to ensure the organisation’s financial stability and efficiency.

The successful candidate will oversee cash flow forecasting, maintain strong relationships with banking and funding partners, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making at a senior level. You’ll also lead and develop a small treasury team, ensuring robust controls, compliance, and continual improvement across treasury processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stability and availability of funds.
  • Lead cash flow forecasting and provide accurate, timely analysis to support key business decisions.
  • Oversee banking relationships, debt facilities, and funding requirements.
  • Identify and manage treasury-related risks and ensure adherence to relevant policies and regulations.
  • Continuously improve treasury processes and internal controls.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on funding and risk management matters.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to ensure high performance and engagement.

About You

  • Proven experience in a treasury management or senior treasury role.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
