Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking to take the next step in a collaborative, growing business? HW Finance are working with a highly acquisitive business who are recruiting for a Group Management Accountant to join a Leeds city centre based finance team with excellent development potential.
About the Role:
Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting decision-making, and helping drive process improvements across the group. If you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and enjoy business partnering with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis)
- Gross margin and commission cost reporting
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Processing payroll and reconciling related revenue
- Financial KPI reporting including NFI and contractor margin
- Assisting with board packs and stakeholder reporting
- Driving improvements in financial processes and controls
About You:
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, QBE or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a management accounting role (professional services a plus)
- Strong Excel skills and confident with finance systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
