HW Finance are working with a highly acquisitive business who are recruiting for a Group Management Accountant to join a Leeds city centre based finance team with excellent development potential.

About the Role:

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting decision-making, and helping drive process improvements across the group. If you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and enjoy business partnering with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis)
  • Gross margin and commission cost reporting
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
  • Processing payroll and reconciling related revenue
  • Financial KPI reporting including NFI and contractor margin
  • Assisting with board packs and stakeholder reporting
  • Driving improvements in financial processes and controls

About You:

  • Part-qualified or qualified by experience (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, QBE or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a management accounting role (professional services a plus)
  • Strong Excel skills and confident with finance systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
