The Role: We are seeking a HGV Driver Class 1 or 2 to operate a HGV vehicle, collect waste from our sites, and dispose of it at various tipping points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate HGV vehicles in compliance with tachograph laws.
- Pre-inspect the vehicle and report any defects promptly for repair.
- Complete all relevant paperwork as required by the business and legislation.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and report any damages according to company procedures.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Ability to work independently.
- Full training will be provided.
- Positive \’can do\’ attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- HGV Driving License.
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) and basic arithmetic.
