Your Role
Play a key role in strengthening the commercial success of H W Martin Safety Fencing through strategic project oversight. You will make sure we are fully compliant with company commercial procedures and corporate governance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Taking direct ownership of multiple jobs, varying in value from small works to major projects.
- Commercial management of projects from tender to final account.
- Effectively identify and manage change.
- Managing the application for payment process and ensure cash is recovered in a timely manner.
- Attending client meetings and represent the business in an exemplary manner.
- Work with operational counterparts to maintain a full understanding of ongoing projects.
- Report contract commercial performance to commercial manager, including monthly CVR and forecasts.
- Support of two depots, Blackwell & Tormarton, including frequent travel.
Skills & Attributes
- Ability to work autonomously to tight deadlines.
- Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly with respect to Microsoft Excel.
- Highways experience preferable.
- Understanding and experience of NEC suite of contracts.
- Effective communicator to both internal and external stakeholders.
You will also have the chance to explore new revenue channels and evaluate opportunities to help the company develop its offering sustainably and within the parameters of our procurement procedures, securing our future for the hundreds of people we employ across the country.
