HW Interim Solutions are working with a regulated financial services organisation to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner into a broad and influential role, working closely with the HR Director and senior leadership team on an interim basis.
This is more than a traditional HRBP position. Acting as a key support to the HR Director, you’ll provide senior-level HR partnering across the business, helping shape and deliver the people agenda while providing sound judgement on complex and sensitive people matters.
Operating within an FCA-regulated environment, the organisation is particularly interested in candidates who understand the relationship between employee relations, conduct and regulatory requirements. Exposure to areas such as SM&CR, Conduct Rules, Fitness & Propriety or non-financial misconduct would therefore be particularly valuable.
The role will include:
- Partnering senior leaders on people strategy, organisational priorities and workforce matters
- Providing advice and challenge on complex and sensitive employee relations issues
- Supporting the HR Director across the broader people agenda and acting as a trusted senior member of the HR team
- Working collaboratively with Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders where people and regulatory matters intersect
- Supporting organisational change, performance, talent and leadership capability
- Ensuring HR policies and practices remain appropriate within a regulated environment
- Helping the organisation respond to evolving expectations around conduct and non-financial misconduct
We’re particularly interested in people who bring:
- Significant HR Business Partnering or senior generalist HR experience
- Experience within financial services, insurance, fintech or another FCA-regulated organisation
- Strong complex ER and employment law knowledge
- An understanding of SM&CR and the people implications of working within an FCA-regulated environment
- Confidence operating with senior and executive-level stakeholders
- The judgement and credibility to operate as a senior partner to the HR Director
The organisation operates a hybrid model from Liverpool, with some flexibility around working patterns.
