HW Interim Solutions are supporting a private equity-backed wealth management business that has experienced significant growth through acquisition and is now entering a critical phase of operational transformation and consolidation. As part of this evolution, they are looking to appoint an Interim Head of Operations to lead and optimise their central operations function. This is a senior, high-impact role with responsibility for c.200 colleagues across paraplanning, administration and core operational support functions. You will play a key role in shaping a more streamlined, scalable and efficient operating model as the business transitions towards a regional hub structure.
The role will involve:
- Leading day-to-day operations across central support functions, ensuring performance, quality and consistency
- Driving operational transformation, with a focus on efficiency, standardisation and scalability
- Embedding improved processes across paraplanning and administrative workflows
- Supporting the integration and optimisation of acquired businesses
- Leveraging technology and emerging tools (including AI) to enhance productivity and service delivery
- Building capability within the leadership team and creating a high-performing, delivery-focused culture
We are looking for:
- A proven operations leader within wealth or asset management
- Strong experience leading large, multi-layered teams (c.150–200+)
- A track record of delivering operational transformation within complex, growing environments
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset
- Someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving, private equity-backed environment
