HW Interim Solutions are supporting our multi-site consumer client to engage an Interim Category Manager – IT & Indirects.
This is a hands-on delivery role, with a particular focus on IT and technology procurement alongside a broader portfolio of indirect spend.
We are looking for an experienced Category Manager who can quickly pick up an established portfolio and deliver against a busy pipeline of commercial activity, including contract renewals and renegotiations, sourcing activity, supplier engagement and savings delivery.
You will bring good experience across IT procurement, which could include software, hardware, technology services, telecoms or managed services. We are also keen to hear from broader indirect procurement generalists who have credible IT category exposure alongside experience managing other areas of indirect spend.
This role will suit someone who is commercially strong, comfortable getting into the detail and able to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to progress activity at pace. Experience within a multi-site consumer, retail or similarly complex operational environment would be highly desirable.

Location: West Midlands – hybrid working
