Category Manager – IT Procurement We are supporting a well-established organisation with the appointment of an experienced IT Category Manager on a 6 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you will take ownership of the IT category as part of a focused cost optimisation programme, identifying and delivering measurable commercial savings. Key responsibilities: Lead IT category strategy, sourcing and supplier negotiations. Analyse spend, contracts and supplier arrangements to identify savings opportunities. Develop and deliver category plans and commercial improvement initiatives. Manage senior stakeholder and supplier relationships. Track and report savings and commercial benefits. Support wider procurement improvement projects. Candidate profile: Proven experience in IT procurement/category management. Strong commercial and negotiation skills. Demonstrable experience delivering cost savings. Confident managing senior stakeholders and suppliers. Comfortable working in a fast paced, project led environment. Strong analytical and strategic procurement capability.
