We’re working with a large, innovative organisation to recruit a UK Tax Compliance Accountant into a growing Corporate Tax function based in West Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant/tax professional (or a graduate keen to qualify) to build strong UK tax compliance experience within a collaborative, international environment focused on process improvement and technology-enabled solutions.
The role involves supporting and managing UK tax compliance and reporting activities for a diverse portfolio of group entities, working closely with internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with UK corporate tax filings and compliance
- Preparing and reviewing tax calculations (including depreciation, amortisation, debt instruments and transactions)
- Modelling tax results and supporting data collection
- Researching tax issues and supporting tax positions
- Improving tax processes through automation, innovation and collaboration
- Supporting ad-hoc projects within the Corporate Tax team
About you:
- Part-qualified accountant or tax advisor (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, ATT, AAT) or a graduate looking to begin a tax/accounting qualification
- Exposure to tax compliance is beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with good stakeholder engagement skills
