Group Finance Director in Reading

A well-established international business is looking for an experienced Group Finance Director to join its senior leadership team.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both leading strategically and staying involved in day-to-day operations.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll take overall responsibility for the company’s finances, systems, and governance. You’ll make sure the group runs efficiently, meets its financial goals, and has the tools and structure it needs for future growth.

You’ll work closely with the senior team, support key business decisions, and strengthen the company’s relationships with banks, advisors, and other external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidation experience (various divisions and subsidiaries)
• Preparation of annual financial statements, ideally including IFRS
• Financial reporting and implementation of reporting structures
• Implementation and harmonization of accounting practices and standards
• Cash and working capital management
• Bank financing
