HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a household name, in an exciting time for the business, in their search for a new Finance Manager in their Group Reporting team.

About the role:

This is a broad and hands-on reporting position, reporting to the Head of Finance. You will be involved in financial accounting and controls, ensuring accurate reporting locally and to the Wider Group. This is an excellent opportunity suitable for someone with Audit or Financial Reporting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the statutory accounts preparation process
  • Coordinate month end, quarter end and year end reporting, including oversight of the wider finance team
  • Supporting with the completion of monthly and quarterly variance analysis ensuring robust commentary
  • Responsible for complex accounting or judgemental balances with ownership of the relevant balance sheet accounts
  • Providing oversight and support around more complex accounting judgements
  • Supporting on the annual audit process
  • Timely resolution of controls issues to ensure timely close and financial reporting
  • Working closely with the wider finance team, and regular support to the Financial Controller
  • Supporting the Tax department with final reviews
  • Continuous support and development of processes

About You:

  • Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong and up to date technical accounting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience
  • Prior mentoring/management experience
  • Good IT skills (including strong Excel skills)
  • Proactive with the ability to manage workload
  • Strong attention to detail
