The Opportunity

The role of Finance Business Partner will act as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial leaders, providing insight, challenging decisions and support strategic and operational decisions. This is a highly visible role offering excellent exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence performance within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial, operations and sales teams to drive business performance.
  • Produce meaningful financial analysis, reporting and insights to support decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes for key business areas.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate new commercial opportunities, investments and business initiatives.
  • Analyse revenue, margins, pricing and profitability, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver robust variance analysis with clear commentary and actionable recommendations.
  • Support the preparation of board reporting.
  • Challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders to improve financial performance.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, forecasting and commercial processes.
  • Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate financial information and consistent reporting.
  • Support strategic projects including acquisitions, business integrations, process improvement and systems development where required.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Previous experience in a Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data into meaningful business insight.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience of financial modelling.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • A proactive and inquisitive approach.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders.
