HW Finance are currently partnered with a high growth SaaS business in their search for a Commercial Finance Lead as they undergo a period of exciting change and transformation under their Private Equity owners. Our client have near doubled their EBITDA to c. £20m in the last 18 months due to a strong sales pipeline and via acquisition therefore require a driven commercial accountant to support continued growth.
As Commercial Finance Lead, you will be leading the full FP&A cycle including financial modelling, data & analytics, business partnering with non-finance and driving executive level decision making. You will be partnering with the industry recognised CFO on a variety of projects including an eventual private equity exit event in the next 2-3 years.
The Role
- Providing high-level commercial insight to support executive level decision making
- Building multi-layered, complex financial models
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting for the group
- Significant business partnering with non-finance to drive performance, particularly with sales
- Working closely with the Private Equity investors to deliver key MI
- Creation of the monthly board pack and delivery to c-suite and investors
- Developing and tracking KPI's
- Utilising PowerBi to visualise and deliver key information
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
The Individual
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience within SaaS or Fintech is a must
- Private Equity exposure is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Advanced excel and modelling skills
- Strong data and analytics skills, particularly around Power Bi
