We are currently supporting a privately owned business at a pivotal point in their finance transformation journey. They’re looking to bring in an experienced Interim Finance Transformation Consultant to help modernise, streamline and future-proof the finance function. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, getting into the detail and driving meaningful change.
The Role: You’ll play a key role in improving how finance operates day to day, working closely with both Finance and IT. Key responsibilities include:
- Mapping, reviewing and redesigning end-to-end finance processes across AP, AR, expenses, credit cards and purchase orders
- Acting as a strong bridge between Finance and IT, translating requirements into workable solutions
- Reducing manual, Excel-heavy processes through automation and smarter workflows
- Supporting and delivering multiple change initiatives, including UAT, test scripts and tracking deliverables
- Helping to build reporting, KPIs and performance frameworks from the ground up
About You:
- Proven experience in finance transformation, process improvement or change roles
- Comfortable operating in imperfect, evolving environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills across finance, systems and wider business teams
- Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-driven
