Reporting directly into the CFO, this is one of the most high-profile Group Financial Controller roles in the region. HW Finance are delighted to be partnering with a Multi-National Blue-chip Organisation to help appoint a new Group FC.

You will be responsible for group-wide controlling activities, statutory reporting, audit, tax strategy (UK & Ireland), treasury management, and financial governance - while also driving consistency and performance across multiple business units.

Other responsibilities & focus areas include:

  • Strategic finance leadership
  • Technical accounting expertise (IFRS environment)
  • Tax, treasury and transactions oversight
  • Systems ownership (including SAP architecture)
  • Controls, governance and risk management
  • Continuous improvement and automation
  • External stakeholders (audit, HMRC, banks, pension trustees)
  • M&A integration and project financing

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Finance Leader
  • Has operated at Senior Financial Controller / Group level in a complex, multi-entity environment
