We are partnering with a leading FTSE listed business to recruit an External Reporting Manager into its finance team in Leeds. This is an opportunity to join a high-profile organisation in a role focused on delivery of timely, accurate and insightful reporting to external stakeholders.
We are keen to speak with candidates from either practice or industry who have a strong grounding in financial reporting and an understanding of the requirements of a listed business.
The Role
You will play an important role in the external reporting process inc. annual reports and accounts, half year statements, quarterly reporting, investor presentations, reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance and delivering accurate MI to board,
About You:
We are looking for an ACA Qualified Accountant who can demonstrate:
- ACA qualification and strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience within a listed environment, either through auditing listed clients in practice or working directly for a listed business.
- A background as a Manager or Senior Manager within a Big 4 firm, or experience in an External Reporting Manager role within industry.
- A good understanding of external financial reporting, statutory accounts and relevant accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
