HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a large and successful UK business to support them with the hire of a Finance Manager to join their team.

About the role: This is a varied role, suitable for a newly qualified accountant, involved in month end process, financial analysis, budgeting processes, and financial modelling. The role is a good mix of reporting and commercial activities, offering broad exposure for a newly qualified accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse gross margin results in line with month end delivery timescales
  • Conduct and present financial analysis, supporting the commercial finance function to challenge the trading team and understand performance
  • Create new management accounts and forecast models for any new entities.
  • Involvement in monthly reforecasting process
  • Accurate and timely submission of all group reporting
  • Responsible for KPI reporting, and involved in producing monthly packs
  • Drive continuous process improvement across the team

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong management accounting or audit background
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of dealing with large, complex datasets
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting standards
  • Pragmatic and flexible in approach
