In House Senior Manager Corporate Tax Manager Hybrid

HW Finance is working with a highly reputable client in West Yorkshire who is recruiting for a In House Senior Tax Manager where you will be able to really help advise and influence key stakeholders.

Playing a key role, you will be exposed to a broad range of tax matters across areas such as Transfer pricing, R&D, M&A projects as well as dealing with HMRC.

In the role you will:

  • Manage preparation and timely submission of corporation tax, VAT, CIS, and other tax filings across the group.
  • Drive improvements to internal controls and tax processes; lead on-site reviews and training to increase tax awareness.
  • Provide technical input on group-wide tax planning strategies including interest restrictions, capital allowances, group relief, and loss planning.
  • Collaborate with internal finance teams, external advisors, and HMRC on various matters and projects.
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop junior members of the team

Hybrid working:

2 days working from home (which 2 days are chosen by you) with 3 days a week in the office.

You experience:

  • Ideally you will be working in a Professional Accountancy Firm seeking a first move into industry or working in a fast paced and dynamic inhouse function currently.
  • You will be fully qualified ACA or CTA
  • A strong corporate tax background is essential, including experience of preparing corporation tax computations and tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
  • Exposure to managing junior members of the team or a desire to is key
