Finance Operations Manager in Bradford

HW Finance are pleased to be supporting a global group in their search for a Finance Operations Manager to join the team in Leeds.

About the role:

This is a newly created position, due to recent team restructure, and is responsible for overseeing all transactional finance, reporting to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a transactional finance team (2 direct reports, total team of 8)
• Manage client invoicing and supplier payment runs, with a focus on cash flow and control
• Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end close processes
• Maintain banking relationships
• Influence and collaborate across departments to ensure alignment
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
• Involvement in systems updates and implementations

About You:

• Progressive experience in finance operations or accounting
• Proven leadership experience of transactional teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proactive and process-improvement oriented
