HVN Labs builds and operates drone systems, developing much of our technology through grant-funded research and development. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage the delivery and reporting of these grant-funded projects.
You will prepare quarterly progress reports and cost claims for the funding body, maintain project budgets, forecasts and audit-ready records, prepare change requests, and track progress against grant milestones with our engineers. You will also coordinate new funding applications and our patent portfolio with our patent attorney.
Required: some experience of project coordination, administration or a similar role (a placement or internship counts); a methodical approach and a high standard of accuracy; confidence with budgets and spreadsheets; clear, precise written English; comfort with technical subjects; able to be based in our Bristol office.
This role suits someone early in their career who wants to move into technical project management. No grant experience is needed, and training in grant reporting, bid coordination and patent management is given by colleagues who know our funding processes. Full-time, permanent and office-based at Future Space, Bristol, normally on site every day. Salary competitive and dependent on experience. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
