We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Planner / Scheduler to join our team in Pinxton, Derbyshire. This is a key role within the business, responsible for coordinating engineers, managing work schedules, and ensuring excellent service delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate engineers’ daily and weekly workloads.
- Plan installation, maintenance, and service visits efficiently across multiple locations.
- Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and provide updates.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as required.
- Manage and update scheduling systems and internal databases.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of work.
- Handle incoming service requests and prioritise urgent jobs.
- Produce reports and maintain accurate records of completed works.
- Support operational planning to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, coordination, or operational support role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Experience using scheduling or job management software would be advantageous.
- A positive, proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
