hVIVO plc (HVO) is a full-service CRO and the world's leading specialist in human challenge trials. We provide end-to-end clinical development solutions to a global client base—including seven of the top ten biopharma companies—supported by our state-of-the-art quarantine facility in London and advanced lab services under the hLAB brand.

Through our subsidiaries CRS and Venn Life Sciences, we deliver early-phase clinical trial expertise across the UK and Germany, from first-in-human studies to biometry and consulting. Combined with FluCamp-supported patient recruitment and five clinical sites, we offer an integrated pathway from preclinical through Phase II development.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HCP Liaison Manager to join our growing Patient and Volunteer Enrolment (PaVE) team. This newly created role will be instrumental in building and managing the hVIVO Healthcare Professional (HCP) Network—a strategic initiative to enhance patient recruitment for clinical trials. This role will be field and office based on the requirements to engage with practices and clinics. The manager will identify, engage, and contract with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including GPs, specialists, pharmacists, and patient organisations, to support patient identification and enrolment. You will also lead educational events, contribute to marketing strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet recruitment targets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Network Development & Engagement
    • Build and manage a network of contracted HCPs and organisations to support patient recruitment.
    • Profile network members based on engagement, motivation, and therapeutic interest.
    • Develop tailored engagement strategies and manage contracting and payment processes.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Clinical Science, Medical, BD) to align on study needs.
  • Feasibility & Recruitment Support
    • Engage the HCP network to support feasibility assessments and patient pool identification.
    • Provide insights to support business development proposals and study planning.
  • Event Management
    • Plan and execute two annual educational/engagement events.
    • Lead all aspects including agenda setting, speaker coordination, logistics, and budget management.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and marketing to ensure impactful delivery.
  • Marketing & Lead Generation
    • Support the creation and distribution of patient recruitment materials.
    • Innovate and test new engagement strategies (e.g., in-practice advertising, digital outreach).
    • Attend conferences and outreach events to promote hVIVO and expand the network.

Skills & Experiences

The HCP Liaison Manager role is an exciting opportunity to be part of this key team. You must have experience in a similar field based role where you can demonstrate you have developed a network of HCP to drive volunteer/patient recruitment. You must also have the scientific knowledge and understanding to be able to discuss our clinical trials with HCPs in the network such as GPs, specialists and pharmacists. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the role for the organisation based on your previous experience in a similar role. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal communications skills, and a focus on execution and results are a must.
