Fabric Engineer
Location: Manchester / Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 + Door-to-Door Pay
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are looking for a Fabric Engineer to carry out reactive maintenance and general building repairs across commercial sites.
The role will cover fabric repairs, joinery, plumbing, minor electrical works and general maintenance.
Duties

Carry out reactive building and fabric maintenance

Complete joinery, basic plumbing and general repairs

Carry out minor electrical works where competent

Complete small works and minor projects
-
Fault find and identify remedial works
-
Manage jobs across multiple customer sites

Complete job sheets and maintenance reports

Liaise with customers and site contacts
Requirements
-
Previous FM or building maintenance experience
-
Good all-round fabric maintenance knowledge

Experience with joinery, plumbing and general repairs

Basic electrical knowledge beneficial
-
Comfortable working independently in a mobile role

Full UK driving licence
-
Flexible towards overtime when required
