An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join a high-profile, fast-paced site in Wembley. This is a demanding, client-facing role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes full ownership of site performance. Working as one of two Technical Services Managers on site, you will play a key role in overseeing building services operations, ensuring compliance, and driving high standards across all technical aspects of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of 6+ engineers, providing leadership, support, and performance management
- Manage all hard services operations, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
- Manage contractors and specialist vendors, ensuring performance and service delivery standards are met
- Work closely with the client, maintaining strong relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Support the planning and delivery of maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor site performance, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved
- Contribute to reporting, audits, and overall operational management of the site
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Technical Services Manager or similar role within a large, complex site
- Strong M&E (mechanical & electrical) background
- Experience managing teams, contractors, and compliance in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Stable work history demonstrating commitment and progression
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a demanding workload
