The Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join a brand-new site in Swansea as part of a small, dedicated engineering team. You will work as part of a team of four, consisting of a Site Manager, Electrician, Plumber and HVAC Engineer. The role will be hands-on, with responsibility for maintaining the site's HVAC systems and supporting the wider engineering operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration faults
- Maintain and service AHUs, air conditioning and associated HVAC equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime
- Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation
- Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Work closely with the Site Manager and wider engineering team
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the building services
The exact HVAC plant and equipment is still to be confirmed as the site is brand new, but the role is expected to cover AHUs and air conditioning.
About You
- Previous experience as an HVAC Engineer within a commercial/FM environment
- Strong HVAC and air conditioning knowledge
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Able to work independently within a small engineering team
- Professional approach with good communication skills
