Are you an experienced Commercial Plumber looking for a mobile maintenance role offering up to £40,000 plus overtime?
We're recruiting for a Mobile Commercial Plumber to carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across a portfolio of sites throughout the West and East Midlands.
You’ll work across a varied range of properties including commercial buildings, healthcare, education and social housing, carrying out plumbing repairs, fault finding, PPM and installation works.
This is a permanent position offering a varied workload, ongoing training and the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime and call‑out.

The Role
As a Mobile Commercial Plumber, you’ll travel between customer sites carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial plumbing systems.
You’ll be responsible for diagnosing plumbing faults, completing repairs and maintaining pipework, plumbing equipment and associated building services.
A strong focus is placed on achieving a high level of first‑time fixes while providing a professional service to customers and building occupants.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial plumbing systems
- Complete reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose faults and identify the correct repair requirements
- Repair and maintain commercial pipework
- Maintain plumbing fixtures, fittings and equipment
- Complete plumbing installation and replacement works
- Identify and resolve leaks and plumbing faults
- Carry out remedial works
- Liaise with customers, tenants and site teams
- Coordinate with the office and management regarding additional works
- Identify additional repair and remedial requirements
- Complete job sheets and maintenance documentation accurately
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and industry standards
- Follow site‑specific Health & Safety procedures
- Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle
- Deliver a professional and customer‑focused service
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need previous experience working on commercial plumbing systems, with the ability to independently diagnose faults and complete repairs.
We’re particularly interested in plumbers with experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, commercial property maintenance, healthcare, education or social housing.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing, City & Guilds or equivalent recognised plumbing qualification
- Previous commercial plumbing experience
- Strong fault‑finding and repair skills
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Good knowledge of commercial plumbing installations and fittings
- Ability to work independently
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Flexible approach to travelFull UK Driving Licence
Mobile Working
This is a mobile position predominantly covering sites throughout the West and East Midlands.
Some wider travel may occasionally be required depending on customer requirements.
You’ll need to be comfortable travelling between multiple customer sites and managing your own workload throughout the working day.
Overtime & Call-Out
The standard working week is Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, based on 40 hours per week.
There will be opportunities to work additional hours where required, with overtime paid in addition to your basic salary.
You’ll also participate in an emergency call‑out rota.
Additional Information
Due to the nature of the customer portfolio, the successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory employment references.
