We are recruiting a Senior Chiller Engineer / Chiller Engineer with strong all-round experience, ideally with a background in air conditioning as well as chillers. This is a mobile role covering Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes, the M4 Corridor, and North London. Data centre experience would be a significant advantage, although not essential. This role offers genuine long-term progression. Engineers with solid experience and the right attitude will have the opportunity to move into more project-based work once established within the business. We are open to candidates with strong potential, placing equal importance on mindset, attitude, and future capability as well as current technical ability.

Key Duties

  • Service, maintain, and repair air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
  • Carry out fault-finding on refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Work on associated air conditioning and HVAC plant
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Complete service reports and relevant documentation
  • Liaise professionally with clients and site teams

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chiller Engineer or Refrigeration Engineer
  • Strong all-round knowledge of HVAC and air conditioning systems
  • Good fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial sites
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Data centre experience
  • Manufacturer training (e.g. Trane, Carrier, Daikin, York)
  • Interest in progressing into project-based work
  • Positive attitude with strong willingness to develop
