A fast-growing renewable energy company is looking for experienced electricians to join their nationwide installation teams. Operating out of Leeds, the business is building one of the UK’s leading platforms connecting electricians with consistent installation work across solar PV, EV charging, battery storage, and heating systems, working with major household brands and energy providers. This is a fully on-the-tools, on-the-road role, ideal for electricians who want steady, well-organised work in renewables without chasing jobs. You’ll be out on site installing and commissioning renewable energy systems in domestic properties. Working as part of a team, you’ll deliver high-quality installs while ensuring everything is safe, compliant, and up to standard.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Installing Solar PV systems on domestic properties
- Installing and wiring battery storage systems
- Fitting and commissioning EV charge points
- Carrying out testing, inspection, and fault finding
- Ensuring all work meets 18th Edition and industry standards
- Completing job sheets and documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an electrician
- At least 2 years’ experience in renewables (Solar PV, EV, or battery storage)
- Strong installation and fault-finding skills
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Good attitude and ability to work on the road
