The Role

As a CCTV & Access Control Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of a wide range of electronic security systems across commercial buildings.

Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team, you'll deliver a first-class service while building strong relationships with clients and ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.

This role also includes participation in a shared out-of-hours call-out rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain CCTV systems

• Install and service access control systems

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs

• Service intruder alarm systems

• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Carry out reactive maintenance and emergency repairs

• Complete system upgrades and small project works

• Ensure all installations comply with current industry standards

• Complete electronic job reports and compliance documentation

• Deliver excellent customer service on every visit

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience installing and maintaining CCTV systems

• Experience working with access control systems

• Intruder alarm experience

• Strong electrical fault-finding skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications

• ECS Card

• SSAIB, NSI or equivalent industry accreditation

• Experience within Facilities Management or Building Services

• Experience working on commercial properties

• Network/IP CCTV knowledge

• Experience with leading manufacturers including Paxton, Hikvision, Avigilon, Gallagher, Honeywell or similar
