We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join a busy client‑facing facilities team covering multiple sites across Glasgow.
Location: Glasgow (covering 4 sites)
Salary: Up to £39,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Benefits:
- 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
- On‑call rota (1 in 7) with £130 standby allowance

The Role:
You will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across a range of building services systems. Duties include:
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Water temperature checks, tap flushing, and waste inspections
- Maintenance of air handling units and overdoor heaters
- General plumbing works (leaks, blockages, pipework, taps, sinks, roof leaks)
- Basic “like‑for‑like” electrical work
- General building maintenance including doors, frames, and fabric repairs
You will manage and plan your own workload using a PDA system, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
About You:
- Background in Facilities Management (FM)
- Ideally mechanically or plumbing qualified/experienced
- Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Comfortable in a client‑facing environment
- Flexible and willing to participate in on‑call rota
