Maintenance Electrician
Location: Peterborough
Salary:£39,000 per annum (potential flexibility for the right candidate)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 (Flexible)
Van + Fuel Card Provided (Private use permitted)

The Opportunity:
A leading engineering services provider is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its growing team. This role supports multiple secure and high-priority sites, delivering a mix of planned and reactive electrical maintenance. With an emphasis on reliability, safety, and professionalism, this position suits someone confident in a client-facing environment who takes pride in delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works across allocated sites
  • Conduct electrical fault finding, testing, repair, and installation tasks
  • Support minor general maintenance activities where required
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to ensure smooth delivery of services
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (details provided at interview)

Requirements:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (Essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
  • Previous experience in commercial or industrial maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professional standards
  • Good communication and time management skills
