Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a static role with no call-out and a better work-life balance? We are recruiting for an electrically qualified engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a prestigious commercial site in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional on-site engineering team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across a modern commercial facility.
The Role
As the site's Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational. Working alongside a team of engineers, you'll deliver high-quality maintenance while building strong relationships with the client and maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Respond to reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault find and repair electrical systems
- Maintain lighting, power distribution and emergency lighting
- Complete minor electrical installation works
- Carry out statutory compliance checks
- Update maintenance records using CAFM systems
- Support the wider engineering team when required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Services
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Experience using CAFM systems
