The Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of engineering services by:
- Supervising and supporting a team of Electrical and Multi-Skilled Engineers.
- Coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Acting as the primary client-facing contact for electrical engineering matters on site.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.
- Managing specialist subcontractors and supporting compliance activities.
- Conducting toolbox talks, audits and health & safety inspections.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to the engineering team.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the contract.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Lead Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer.
- A strong Electrical Building Services or Facilities Management background.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Strong fault-finding and technical knowledge across commercial electrical systems.
- A proactive approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (Level 2 will also be considered).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- AP/Authorised Person qualification (or willingness to achieve this within six months).
- IOSH or NEBOSH.
- Testing & Inspection qualifications.
