The Opportunity
Join a leading facilities management company supporting a newly mobilised healthcare contract across veterinary clinics and care facilities throughout Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for genuine work-life balance. With no call out rota , very little out-of-hours working and most sites closing by
6pm , you'll benefit from predictable working hours while maintaining a varied portfolio of clean, well-maintained commercial properties.
Although these are commercial sites, many are similar in size and layout to large residential buildings, providing a rewarding mix of planned and reactive maintenance work.

The Role
You'll carry out electrical planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial healthcare sites.
Your workload is evenly split between
- 50% Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
- 50% Reactive Maintenance
Typical duties include
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Planned electrical maintenance
- Emergency lighting testing
- Fire alarm testing
- Lighting and power repairs
- Distribution board inspections
- Small electrical installations
- Inspection and testing
- Compliance checks
- Supporting general building maintenance where required
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing qualification desirable
- Experience within Facilities Management or commercial building maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence
